Due to sophisticated software, detailed manufacturing planning and the support of the UK’s principal flat glass and shaped roof sealed unit manufacturer, Ultraframe is able to offer a 5-day lead time on roof and glass orders.
The 5-day lead time for roof and glass applies to the standard roof shapes that feature in the Ultraframe UK Price Matrix - and both Conservaglass and the recently launched new variants of sealed units can be ordered on this lead time. The newly launched Anti-Sun and Clear sealed units are available in a choice of blue, grey or standard clear with the added feature of soft coat low ‘e’ (1.2) or K glass (1.5) on the inner leaf, meaning that users of the Ultraframe system can now offer a variety of glazing performance characteristics at all price points.
Not only this but the service available from Ultraframe for ordering Conservaglass is second to - one call gets it all. Ordering a roof and glass from one source, ensures there are no costly mis-measures or time wasted liaising with a separate glass supplier over sizes or trying to work out sizes on difficult shapes. All of the various specifications in Ultraframe’s portfolio feature Pilkington flat glass and are made in Pilkingtons own dedicated roof shape factory and, for total convenience, can be delivered to customer’s premises or direct to site on small vans that can easily navigate domestic housing estates. All units are toughened, gas filled and come with a silver spacer as standard. However, to offer total choice to end users bronze, gold & white spacers are also available.
Conservaglass, launched in 2002 by market leading conservatory roofing company Ultraframe, was the first high performance glazing product designed specifically for the requirements of conservatories in the UK climate. In addition to keeping the sun's energy out in Summer and keeping the interior warm in Winter, it stays cleaner for longer than conventional glass. Not only does it stay cleaner for longer but a transparent coating bonded into the external surface of the glass (not sprayed onto the sealed unit after production like some products) uses the power of ultra-violet rays and the rain to break down dirt and grime and wash it clean away.
Mark Hanson, Marketing Manager commented: “Conservaglass has been a great success since its launch and we are pleased to now be able to offer our customers a wider choice of glazing options. The new Anti-Sun and Clear sealed unit options ensure that we are able to provide users of the Ultraframe system with a high quality glazing option to suit every price point. A 5 day lead time – for roof and glass – for everyday shapes means that we take total responsibility, freeing the retailer to use their time for other important tasks.”
