Area Sales Manager – Southeast

With over 40 years in business, Ultraframe is the UK’s market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of conservatory roofing systems and home extension products to the trade market. Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Area Sales Manager in the Southeast of England to join our external sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and expanding business, so if you are driven, autonomous, and passionate about sales, we want you to join us in delivering outstanding customer experiences and increasing our growth. The area is well established but we have big plans to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and build strong long-term relationships and loyalty with existing customers.
• Proactively prospecting for new customers - identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
• Dedication to ensuring area sales targets and margins are achieved and increased.
• To forecast sales volume potential both in existing and new customers.
• To introduce to new and existing products to customers and gain commitment to buy through compelling sales presentations.
• Collaborate with our internal teams to ensure excellent service to existing customers and smooth onboarding of new clients.
• The negotiation and closing of pricing and supply agreements with existing and new clients.
• Preparing and presenting account updates and sales reports to the company’s management.

What we are looking for as an ideal candidate:

• A minimum of 3 years in a similar account management B2B role, ideally in the fenestration or construction industry with proven sales experience.
• A commercially focused, hardworking self-starter who is flexible, self-motivated and ambitious.
• An initiative-taking team player, customer-focused, solution-driven, and eager to contribute to a growing company with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Professional presentation skills - confident at preparing, presenting and with attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation skills and an ability to develop solid business partnerships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - ability to interact with clients and internal teams.
• Effective planning and organisation skills
• A full UK driving licence is required.
• Word/Excel/PowerPoint/IT knowledge needed.

Building Design Technician

An exciting opportunity to join an award-winning design team as a Building Design Technician Apprentice, based in Clitheroe,  Lancashire.  Ultraframe are the UK’s leading designer & manufacturer of offsite building solutions.  We deliver innovative, high quality products which are designed to transform light & space around the home.  We have developed our products to build carbon efficient homes & insulate Britain.

As a business, Ultraframe recognises the need to invest in apprentices and therefore our future, working to develop an individual’s design skills, supporting them through their studies whilst providing opportunities to work with experienced personnel at the same time.

If you are looking for a role where you can combine study with continuous experience & support from a growing company, then Ultraframe is committed to providing this.

The successful candidate will receive technical training on Ultraframe’s product range & in-house software.  Previous experience using CAD/Solidworks would be desirable, although not essential.

The candidate must be able to work using their own initiative, be computer literate & demonstrate excellent attention to detail.  You must be able to communicate verbally with colleagues, collaborate with fellow apprentices/personnel & work in a fast paced, busy environment.

Your journey to becoming a Building Design Technician will include the following: -

  • Attending college 1 day per week to attain a degree-level qualification in construction.
  • Gain product knowledge over various design divisions within the company.
  • To learn & follow both quality procedures & design rules for effective building design.
  • Working with Architects / Contractors on building projects
  • Project Management.
  • Site visits / Site Support / Survey Support.
  • Conducting design feasibility studies & developing concepts through to final design & releasing detailed technical drawings.
  • Providing technical assistance
  • Various goals will be set, & your performance monitored during the apprenticeship to ensure that they are achieved.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills are key to this role, & you should take personal pride in your work to ensure good results.

 

Potential candidates are expected to have the following qualifications.

  • A Levels / ONC or relevant industry experience.
