Modern Slavery Act Transparency Statement

Ultraframe (UK) Limited designs and manufactures bespoke glazed and solid roofing systems and other building products for conservatories, orangeries, and single storey extensions. Products are sold to homeowners via a network of fabricators, trade intermediaries, and retail installers.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Ultraframe (UK) Limited have taken to identify associated risk and to ensure, as far as is practicable, that Modern Slavery is not taking place in its own business or supply chains.

Modern slavery can take various forms such as servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking. Ultraframe (UK) Limited continues to promote awareness and re-enforce a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery through training and communication.

We maintain a suite of policies that set expectations for ethical conduct, including our Modern Slavery Policy, Ethical and Environmental Code of Conduct for Suppliers of Goods and Services, Whistleblowing Policy. These policies guide our actions, inform supplier requirements, and reinforce our zero tolerance approach to exploitation.

To mitigate risk, we conduct proportionate due diligence on all relevant suppliers through pre screening, risk assessments, contract controls, and audit activities, escalating to corrective action plans where needed. Our risk assessment processes enable us to identify high risk regions, products, and labour practices, and to implement targeted mitigation measures.  We measure the effectiveness of our actions using key performance indicators, including supplier assessments completed, audit findings addressed, grievance reports received, and staff training participation. Outcomes are reviewed annually to support continuous improvement.

Training on modern slavery is provided to relevant staff, particularly those involved in procurement, supply chain management, and supplier engagement, ensuring they understand how to identify and escalate concerns.

This statement for the financial year 1st November 2024 – 31st October 2025 has been approved by the Board of Directors and will be published on our company website in accordance with the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Signed on behalf of the Board of Directors

Julian Slade, CEO, Ultraframe UK Ltd.
