Mr & Mrs Mayfield live in a beautiful, detached house in Leicester. They wanted to extend to create an open plan kitchen/dining area and bring light into their home from the back of the house. The extension had to fit in with the look and style of the existing property from the outside and provide a comfortable, light room.

The couple were recommended to their local hup! builder, Harveys Windows & Conservatories, and began to discuss their ideas, resulting in a stunning hup! design featuring a Flat Roof and a central lantern. With the combination of glazing and solid areas, the space was designed to be warm and comfortable all year round and provides the perfect blend of modern and traditional styling. The high quality Flat Roof system is the most thermally efficient on the market with a U-Value of 0.12W/m2K (and is available with either flat skylights, roof lanterns or no rooflights).

The result is an absolutely stunning hup! extension that was built within a week! The extension fuses together an open plan kitchen with a dining area which has given the couple exactly the space they were aiming for. Externally, the hup! is finished in white render with anthracite grey windows, doors and trims for a stunning, timeless look.

After the base level blue brick went down and the main construction started, we were “knocked through” and watertight within a week!”
