More than just a conservatory roof upgrade
When Mr and Mrs Pearson decided it was time to replace their existing conservatory, they knew they wanted more than just a roof upgrade. At over 20 years old, the conservatory was nearing the point where the roof would soon need attention, but rather than simply refurbish it, they chose to invest in a more modern solution that would better suit the way they use their home. The original conservatory no longer suited modern expectations for this type of space.
The ideal home extension alternative
Initially, they considered building a traditional extension. However, with limited access to the rear of the property, this option presented challenges. The hup! system offered an ideal alternative, combining the feel of an extension with the potential benefits of faster installation and the possibility of making use of the existing base.

hup! wall panels are designed to be lightweight, allowing them to be easily lifted and carried by builders. They arrive as a flat-packed kit that can be easily transported and moved on-site, eliminating the need for heavy machinery like cranes.
After researching online, the homeowner contacted hup! after exploring the options for their project. The enquiry was passed to their local installer, Great Harwood Windows, who were able to discuss the available choices in detail, including roof finish, window and doors colours, and external finishes.
A warm, modern home extension
The finished space has transformed the old conservatory footprint into a warm, modern extension that is now used as a full living space. The room is far more comfortable and usable than the original conservatory, offering a practical new area for everyday life.
Reflecting on the project, When Mr and Mrs Pearson said: “I am very pleased with the completed extension. It is a warmer space than the conservatory, with a much more modern feel, and it now works as a true living area within our home.”
