Mr & Mrs Evans had an unusable old conservatory that needed updating. It had a leaking roof, was aesthetically unappealing, and was way too cold in the winter and way too hot in the summer.

After looking for options online, they came across the hup! system and got in touch with their local hup! Builder, Vale Conservatories to discuss transforming their conservatory into something new. 

Working with their hup! Builder, they designed an extension which would work for their life at home. The design was a hup! extension with hup! tiled lean-to roof on the same footprint as the existing conservatory. The new design features 2 solid walls at either side with a set of large bifolding doors which lead to the open plan, spacious kitchen and dining room space. This beautiful design means that their hup! extension now links the home to the garden, so they can enjoy views of the garden and easily access it during the summer months.

The homeowner wanted to be able to use the existing footprint of the old conservatory, to avoid groundworks, which saved them money; in fact it almost halved the price of a traditionally built extension. This, combined with the speed of hup! was a no brainer. The homeowners were delighted and amazed that the new structure was installed and watertight in just a couple of days.

Commenting about his hup! conservatory transformation project, Mr Evans said: “The space has changed our day-to-day life! We now have a large kitchen space and a dining area we can use throughout the year. It has also become the epicentre of our home and the focal point of our family time.”
