Tuesday 27th September 2005

Payne Windows & Conservatories in Newton Abbott, Devon has celebrated 1 year of membership to the Guild Approved Ultra Installer Scheme, with the opening of a prestigious new showroom.

Payne Windows & Conservatories passed a stringent vetting process to become members of the Guild Approved Ultra Installer Scheme which helps homeowners find reputable and quality conservatory installers. One year on, the company continues to go from strength to strength and celebrated the launch of its impressive new garden centre showsite.

Dave Phillips, Managing Director of Payne Windows & Conservatories, said: “Payne Windows and Conservatories has been trading for over 8 years and we take a lot of pride in the reputation we have established for delivering quality services and products to our customers. Our scheme membership and growth reflects our complete dedication to customer service. The new show centre will display a huge range of windows and the latest in technologically advanced and stylish conservatories. Also on display are all manner of garden buildings, including cabins, sheds, greenhouses and summerhouses.”

The company is a member of the Guild Approved Ultra Installer Scheme, a national scheme introduced by the market leader in the design and manufacture of conservatory roofing systems, Ultraframe. The Scheme enables homeowners to select a conservatory company with the confidence that the company will provide the highest standards of design, workmanship and customer service.

To be accepted for the Scheme, companies have to meet standards set by Ultraframe and The Guild of Master Craftsmen, including producing homeowner references. Companies must also pass a thorough independent inspection carried out by the British Board of Agrément to demonstrate their ability to do the job to the highest standard and to ensure they offer excellent customer service before, during and after the conservatory is installed. These inspections are on -going to ensure that the high standards of the scheme are maintained.

Ultraframe’s Managing Director, Vanda Murray, OBE, said: “The Guild Approved Ultra Installer Scheme supports homeowners by promoting the highest standards of installation and service. We are committed to raising industry standards and doing everything we can to give consumers more confidence in both our products and in the companies that install them. A scheme like this allows the customer to make a more informed choice of installer and to have peace of mind in the performance of the product they are fitting.”
