Conservatory Lighting
Conservatory lighting - for the perfect night-time atmosphere
Naturally, you'll use your conservatory during the day, but in the evening it's a wonderful place to relax - especially with the night sky above and the garden all around! It's important to choose the right conservatory lighting, to create a unique intimate atmosphere and the right ambiance for your conservatory. You can create a perfect balance using spot lights in the conservatory roof ridge as well as table lamps and wall lamps which are a natural choice for any conservatory. Many conservatory roof fans also come with a light as standard. Low-level lighting is the best for creating an atmospheric environment and you may want to consider dimmer switches. Don't forget that natural light from an evening sky, the moon and stars, can be the best illumination of all - you might want to keep artificial lighting to the minimum to enjoy the beautiful scene through your conservatory roof. You will want to consider carefully were you place your light switches and having some inside the main house is always a good idea or you may find yourself stumbling round a dark conservatory trying to find the light switch
You might also want to consider exterior garden lighting to enhance your night time view. A spot light on to a water feature such as a pond can add a touch of elegance or a floodlight garden or tree can all add to making a truly magical conservatory experience.
